An honest Char Dham itinerary in a Force Urbania

Char Dham is not one trip — it is four trips stitched together. The Urbania makes that bearable because each leg ends in real recliner seats and a proper night halt.

Day-by-day plan

We open with a Haridwar night, then go anti-clockwise: Yamunotri → Gangotri → Kedarnath → Badrinath. The reason is altitude — Yamunotri eases you in, and by the time you hit Kedarnath you are acclimatised.

When to take the helicopter

If your group has anyone above 65, pre-book the Kedarnath helicopter from GMVN. The Urbania waits at Sonprayag and saves you the 18 km trek. For Yamunotri, palki is more practical than helicopter.

What to pack

Layers, a fleece, a windproof shell. Even May mornings at Kedarnath are sub-10°C. Slip-on shoes for the temples. Plastic-bag your phone for the heli leg.
