Manali has two personalities. The summer Manali is busy, pine-fresh and family-friendly. The winter Manali is quiet, snowy and cinematic. The Urbania handles both, but your packing and itinerary should not.
March to June
Peak season. Atal Tunnel is open. Rohtang opens by late May. Hotel rates spike on weekends. Book the Urbania three weeks in advance.
July to September
Monsoon. Beautiful but landslide-prone. We carry an alternate route through Mandi-Aut and a backup driver.
October to February
Snow season. Sissu becomes the snow stop. The Urbania is fitted with snow chains on demand. Apple orchards in October are an underrated detour.
